Join WITHIN Meditation teacher Herky Feroz Chopra for an hour of inspiration and conversation about living your practice in the world. This event is part of our monthly series of online gatherings about “How Mindfulness Can Change Your Life.” In each, you'll meet other students in our global community, and be inspired by one of our favorite teachers.
Maybe you've noticed that a regular meditation practice does wonders for your wellbeing, and in reducing your stress levels - but how much of your practice are you taking with you as you go about your day to day life? In this session, Herky will share how being more intentional with your life and getting in tune with your breath, body, and the workings of your own mind can help you savor the moments of joy and gratitude, and access more ease and calm, as you go about your day.
How to Join and What to Expect
This event will be held 10-11am PDT on Sunday September 12th. We'll use Zoom to gather online together; a link to join will be emailed to you when you register. We recommend joining via computer or tablet (vs phone), so you can see the other participants and the event leader easily.
You'll also want to have a journal or other writing materials on-hand. Other than that, come as you are!
Registration is through Eventbrite. Suggested donation is $10, but any amount you give directly supports Herky and WITHIN Meditation.

Herky Feroz Chopra had a deep meditative upbringing growing up in India with exposure to wisdom teachings, and the guidance of an enlightened master. She immigrated to the US at the age of 20 and even though Herky held a successful corporate career as a Project Manager, her deepest passion is in practicing and teaching meditation. She is also a life coach for women and helps them find well-being by creating an inward shift & tap into higher levels of self-compassion, self-worth, joy, and inner peace. She uses a variety of techniques in her practice but her core message is that we all have accessibility & must learn to tap into the inner dimensions of calm and presence amidst all the chaos we often experience in our outside world.
For the past 12 years, Herky has deep-dived in various modalities and practical applications in personal development, positive psychology, career and life coaching, mindfulness, and spirituality integrating east-west wisdom teachings.
In her own personal journey raising three children as a single mom and a full-time career, Herky has found meditation to be her constant companion to not only get grounded and overcome the stresses of modern living but also find meaning, joy, and beauty in her daily life.
