Let Go of the Idea of Peace and See It for Yourself with Adam S. Moskowitz

  • WITHIN Meditation (Online) (map)

Join WITHIN Meditation teacher Adam S. Moskowitz for an hour of inspiration and conversation about living your practice in the world. This event is part of our monthly series of online gatherings about “How Mindfulness Can Change Your Life.” In each, you'll meet other students in our global community, and be inspired by one of our favorite teachers.

This talk will explore one of cornerstones of developing and nourishing a transformative practice: to learn to stop trying to strategize our way towards some concept of ease, growth, and awakening. To touch the reality of our human experience directly. To begin to have faith that the present moment may offer what we unconsciously seek as we endlessly strive for a "better" moment. To ask: What happens when we move towards our interior world with kindness, stability of mind, and present-time awareness?

How to Join and What to Expect

This event will be held 10-11am PDT on Sunday October 24th. We'll use Zoom to gather online together; a link to join will be emailed to you when you register. We recommend joining via computer or tablet (vs phone), so you can see the other participants and the event leader easily.

You'll also want to have a journal or other writing materials on-hand. Other than that, come as you are!

Registration is through Eventbrite. Suggested donation is $10, but any amount you give directly supports Adam and WITHIN Meditation.

If you’re a WITHIN member, this event is included in your membership! Email us at sit@withinmeditation.com for the promo code or to learn more about becoming a member.
