Mindful Living Circle IV
Sept 17 - Nov 19, 2024
All Sessions Online
When we first start meditating, we’re often looking for more calm, ease, acceptance, and joy - and less reactivity, overwhelm, stress, and anxiety. While it’s exhilarating to experience those benefits during meditation, have you found that you often lose them once you open your eyes and go back into your active life?
If you'd like to carry that sense of peace and presence with you throughout your day, it's totally possible: you just need to change your mindset, and focus your attention on the present moment with mindfulness. But without support, it’s easy to forget and slip back into your usual ways.
That’s why WITHIN teacher Devon Pipars created Mindful Living Circles. Over the course of 10-12 weeks, you’ll learn first-hand how constant mindfulness allows you to show up in the way you want for yourself, for others, and for life. With support and inspiration from Devon and the others in your Circle, you’ll stop talking about being more mindful, and start living it.
Why Circles Work
Mindful Living Circles are designed to help meditators of all levels integrate and stabilize the awareness gained through their meditation practice into everyday living.
It’s one thing to understand what mindfulness is, and another to live it! Mindful Living Circles are groups of 6-10 people who come together once a week to support and inspire each other to live life mindfully. The teacher creates and holds a safe space where everyone is heard, and offers a specific way to put mindfulness into action each week.
Having that weekly meeting gives you the structure and accountability you need to make meaningful change in how you live your daily life.
What to Expect
Devon Pipars is inviting anyone who experiences anxiety on a regular basis to join this 10-week journey to identify, reframe, and manage the experiences of anxiety in our daily lives.
Mindful Living Circle IV meets for 10 interactive online group sessions. In each and every session you can expect sharing from all participants, as well as a guided 10-minute meditation to close, using a different meditation technique each week that is helpful to alleviate anxiety. Devon provides many thought-provoking journaling exercises throughout, so that you can really drill down to the roots of this extremely common condition.
You'll learn some very immediate and healthy coping mechanisms you can turn to whenever you need to manage the symptoms of anxiety, such as calming breathwork, self-compassion, setting boundaries, and clearly communicating what we need in those moments to ourselves and others.
This is appropriate for all levels - no prior Circle participation or meditation experience is required - but registration will be limited to 10 spots.
Mindful Living Circle IV will meet on Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm PT / 7:30-8:30pm ET from September 17th through November 19th. Everyone in the Circle will support and inspire each other as you examine everyday choices about how you live your life in order to step into a place of alignment and harmony.
You’ll reflect on what you’ve learned throughout the weeks of the Circle, and create a clear intention for how you’ll support and sustain your greater awareness. This format requires a willingness to share and also receive different experiences and perspectives.
At the end of the 10 weeks, you’ll be invited to continue your Mindful Living Circle journey with a series of six sessions. In each, Devon will hold space for everyone to share how their journey is evolving. Continuing is entirely optional - but you may find that, once you start integrating mindfulness into your life, you don’t want to stop!

All Circle sessions are held via Zoom, so they’re super easy to join with your laptop, your tablet or your phone. You’ll receive a link to join once you complete your registration.
Are the online sessions recorded?
No, we won’t record the sessions, as we want to encourage everyone in your Circle to speak freely - including you!
When will I come to a Circle?
The Circle meets once a week for an hour for ten weeks. We’re currently enrolling students in Mindful Living Circle IV, which will meet on Tuesdays from September 17th through November 19th, 2024.
How often will I need to come to a Circle?
When you register, you’re committing to joining at least 8 out of the 10 live online sessions of your Circle. If you miss a session, Devon can catch you up on the mindfulness practice she introduced, but the real value of the Circle is the conversation and sharing among the participants. You'll learn some very immediate and healthy coping mechanisms you can turn to whenever you need to manage the symptoms of anxiety, such as calming breathwork, self-compassion, setting boundaries, and clearly communicating what we need in those moments to ourselves and others. This format requires a willingness to share and also receive different experiences and perspectives.
Is there any guided meditation in the sessions?
There is a brief guided meditation in each session. If you’re looking for more substantial guided meditation, check out our online classes instead.
Who leads the Circle sessions?
Devon Pipars will lead the Circle sessions.
Do I need any special clothes or equipment?
None! One of our favorite things about meditation and mindfulness is that you don't need anything special to practice them. You’ll need access to the internet, and a phone, laptop or tablet, to join the online classes.
Can I start and stop during the Circle?
You’ll learn the most - and do the most to build your mindfulness practice - if you attend all sessions of your Circle. However, if you miss a session, Devon can catch you up on the mindfulness practice she introduced. That said, the real value of the Circle is the conversation and sharing among the participants. We encourage you to take your commitment to the Circle seriously, and do everything you can to protect that time on your schedule.
What happens if I sign up, and then realize it's not right for me? Do you give refunds?
We want you to feel great about jumping in. If you decide after your first Circle session that it isn’t for you, we’ll give you a full refund. Because we also want you to take your participation in the Circle seriously, you must request the refund by 11:59pm PDT on the day before the second session of your Circle for us to honor it (Sept 23).
