Join WITHIN Meditation teacher Namaste J for an hour of inspiration and conversation about living your practice in the world. This event is part of our monthly series of online gatherings about “How Mindfulness Can Change Your Life.” In each, you'll meet other students in our global community, and be inspired by one of our favorite teachers.
Namaste J will share how to begin and cultivate an attitude of gratitude through mindfulness. She'll share how developing more mindfulness led her to view her life through a half full lens, versus a half empty one. The practice of gratitude sharpens our attention for the good and the positive in our lives, which helps us appreciate things that we tend to take for granted. Gratitude is a skill that can be developed and strengthened with mindfulness. In this session you'll learn simple ways to add more gratitude into your life.
How to Join and What to Expect
This event will be held 10-11am PDT on Saturday August 14th. We'll use Zoom to gather online together; a link to join will be emailed to you when you register. We recommend joining via computer or tablet (vs phone), so you can see the other participants and the event leader easily.
You'll also want to have a journal or other writing materials on-hand. Other than that, come as you are!
Registration is through Eventbrite. Suggested donation is $10, but any amount you give directly supports Namaste J and WITHIN Meditation.

Namaste J is a corporate professional turned certified yoga instructor and meditation coach based in Atlanta, GA.
She began practicing yoga and meditation in 2004 after the passing of her father. During that difficult time, mindfulness meditation and yoga helped heal her mind, body, and spirit. She fell in love with the overwhelming gratitude and acceptance meditation provided. Meditation invites us to channel our emotions in a positive way, and by utilizing this practice she was able to journey through depression and grief to become a healthier and happier person.
As a passionate believer that self-care is a form of self-love, Namaste J feels that meditation is a means of loving your body, your mind, and what they’re both capable of. Her philosophy is that meditation is therapy for the body and soul. There is power within the breath. There is healing within the breath. There is peace within the breath. She inspires people to try and create a habit of doing meditation to become healthier, emotionally and physically. Through meditation she will lead you on your own personal journey that deepens the connection between your mind, body, & spirit. She’ll guide you on the path towards living a high vibrational life that impacts not only you, but your community, and the world at large.
Namaste J teaches from the heart, and guided by compassion, kindness, and positivity. Whether you’re experienced or brand new, her goal is to spread the joy, positivity, love, acceptance, and gratitude that is meditation to everyone.
